Gloria Ann Rose Wilson also known as “Teacher Gloria” of Springs, St. George - Former Post Mistress of Springs Post Office, passed away on Monday 27th January, 2020 at the age of 79


She was the mother of: Wendell Wilson in the USA


Grand mother of: Xavier Wilson in the USA


Adopted mother of: David Mitchell, Margaret Garret also known as “Rosemond” and Frances Marecheau in the USA, Kelly McFarlene in Grenada


Sisters of: Joan Wilson Antoine, Frank also know as “Lio”, Eustace and Stephenson


Sister in law of: Flavian Antoine


Many nieces and nephews incl: Phyllis, Sharon, Yvette, Charlotte, Anique, Sally, Sandra, David, Ryan, Daren, Hugo and Paul, God mother of: Rhonda and Marlon


Many relatives and friends including: the Collins family of Grand Roy, Gouyave and the UK, Antoine family of Beaureguard, Wilson family in Grenada and Canada including Carl, Maria, Rena and Clive, the Vincent and Batson families of Springs, Ilita, Christiana, Evelyn, Yvonne, Margaret and Yolande Cadore in the USA, members of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Belmont, friends and neighbours of Springs, Belmont and surrounding areas


Funeral Service on Monday 17th February, 2020 at1:30 pm at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Grand Anse, St. George and Entombment at the Grand Anse Cemetery



Condolences to Wendell Wilson,Ryan Antoine,all other family members,friends & everyone who loved Teacher Gloria. She was a lovely lady. It’s very sad to say good bye to Teacher Gloria’s outstanding,memorable generation who embraced the true spirit of love of children & community. I’m comforted that Teacher Gloria & her loving,inspiration generation are not my past,but my future.May God make peace with & accept Teacher Gloria’s soul! Rest In Peace!


Teacher Gloria was my first teacher. I will always cherish the wonderful memories. RIP


Jesus has call the name of this sweet blessed quiet wonderful smiling family and friends Auntie Gloria my neighbour to rest with him in beautiful paradise where we will meet again some day
You were of great help in times of need mother to many you cared for manny kids as you did your own
