Janice King also known as “Mama” and “Queen” of Happy Hill, St. George who resided at Upper Capitol, St. Andrew, passed away on Saturday 26th May, 2018 at the age of 63


She was the Wife of: Ivor King, Mother of: Nurse Ruth King Charles, Lorna Frederick, Junior, Jeremy and Jason King, Grand Mother of: Nathan, Micha, Jonathan and Jethro King, Hannah and Sarah Frederick and Makayla Charles, Mother in Law of: Tommy Frederick, Rebekah King, Lee Charles, Nurse Neisha Collymore King


Sister of: Pastors John Charles and Raphael Jones, Agnes and Raymond Jones, Stephen Charles, Christine, Olivia, Peter and Patrick Neckles, Aunt of many including : Rhonda Harris, Ruth Jones, Daron Charles, Loxley Henry, Antonio Langdon, Paula Charles, Anile Jones, Sister in Law of : Maria Jones, Denise Charles, Hazel-Ann Charles and Agnes Jones


Many other relatives & friends including: Ann and Agnes Charles, Claudia George, Joycie, McMillan Henry, Patsy and Lynette Henry, Petal Charles, Venice, Pastor Septimus Charles, Pastors and Congregation of the Open Door Deliverance Sanctuary and Bible Holiness Churches of Grenada, the Noel family of Pleasance , friends and neighbours of Happy Hill, Upper Capitol and St. James


Funeral Service at The New Testament Church of God, Birchgrove, St. Andrew according to Open Door Deliverance Sanctuary rites on Wednesday 13th June, 2018 at 1:30 pm and Interment at the St. Rose Cemetery



Our deepest sympathy goes out to you on the passing of mama we know that she will be greatly miss by her children, grandchildren and siblings especially her twin

Condolences to the King and Charles families on Mama's passing. I can just imagine that powerful mezzo-soprano voice singing up there and the angels stopping in wonder as Janice launches forth in worship. May we who remain here be encouraged to pursue God as passionately as she did. may the memories of her and your dependence on God's promises sustain you now and always.


So sorry for the loss of Sister King. May the Lord comfort her family and friends.


May God saturates the family with comfort as they grieve. She was a strong woman of faith that inspired many. When Jesus comes we will meet again.
