Joan Williams

Joan Williams who resided in the UK, passed away on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 at the age of 68,

 

Born on September 20th 1949, in Industry St Marks, Grenada. Immigrated to London, England in 1965 where she worked as a foster parent until retiring in 2017.

Daughter of: The late Frances Lalgie (Panto) and Zepherine Williams.

 

Sister to: Keith Edwards of the USA, Shirley Dickenson, Sharon Olebar, Joyce Downes, Lloyd Downes, Terry Downes, Bernard Downes and Peter Lalgie of London, UK. Mother to: Suzette Wildman of USA, Angelyn Wildman, Osmond Wildman, Julian Wildman, Charlotte Wildman-Ratnarajah, Charlene Wildman of London, UK and Francis Abraham of the USA, Foster Mother to: Abraham and Abbu.

 

Grandmother to 17:  Scarlet Ogunjobi (Tara), Myles Aaron, Camron, Dylan, Maraide, Luke, Siobhan, Lauren, Chloe, Hailey and Valentina of UK. Pierre, Julian, Kellie, Jourdon and Ashley of the USA, Great Grandmother to: Olivia, Sienna, Savannah and Sophia Ogunjobi.

 

Mother In-Law to: Peter, Chauntelle, Roshan, and Marianne, Grandmother In-Law of: Michael, Numerous Nieces and Nephews include: Julia, Robert, Lorraine, Caroline, Rihanna, Malik, Shereen, Samantha, Jamie, Gavin and many many more, Friends Includes: Cecelia, Yvonne, Fay, Pops, Mum, Jenny, Dwayne, Wendy, and Ron.

 

Other relatives Include: Croft, Jouvert, Dickey, Francis, Oba, The Fosters, The Fordes, The Ratnarajah's, The Abrahams, The Dealie's, The Wildmans, The Mark Family, The Bolah and Williams Family, all of whom she loved dearly, She is survived by her longtime companion, Donald Meddar (Danny).

Nan as I will forever remember her was loving and generous. Her house was always open to all, and you can count on her warm hospitality. Her cakes are legendary and she always made you feel welcome. It was a pleasure knowing her and she will be indelibly missed by all who knew her.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Some comforting scriptures that help me to cope is acts 24:15 and psalm 34:18 i look forward to the time when death will be no more isaiah 25:8
