Olive Gilkes, better known as “Auntie” of Cotton Bailey, St John, who resided in Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home in Ocala on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the age of 95.

She was predeceased by her mother, the late, Browney Durrant of Cotton Bailey, St John’s, Grenada.

Left behind to cherish her memories are a sister in Grenada, many nieces and nephews including: Anitta Veronica Smith in Canada, Rufus Smith in Grenada, Lloyd (Sprilly) and Irma in Grenada, Kaden McKuen in the U.S., many grand-nieces and grand-nephews including: Linette Redhead in Canada, numerous relatives and friends in Grenada, Trinidad, Canada and the United States, including: Shirley, and her caregiver: Wanda.
