St. Rose Modern Secondary School
On the compound of Gouyave Estate, this area was the seat of what was known as Duncan's Town, owned by the Duncan Family.
The present Convent building was the "Great House" while the present schools buildings were boucans, store houses, yard for the drying of produce and stables for the animals. It was bought by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother during the 1930s and converted to a secondary school during the 1960s.
